Nuclear agency issues safety report on reactor design

SBA lending up dramatically in S.C.
Small business loans backed by the federal government have nearly doubled in South Carolina, according to new data from the South Carolina district office of the U.S. Small Business Administration. Among the state’s top SBA lenders, TD Bank has doubled its volume and Bank of Travelers Rest has tripled its amount of SBA lending to small businesses.

S.C. to get $4.2M from HUD for affordable housing

S.C. GED passage rate bests national rate for first time
The state’s passage rate rose from 69% in 2009 to 75.3% in 2010 — nearly three percentage points higher than the overall national passing rate of 72.6%.
