Downtown parking demand expected to rise
Monthly parking rates for parking garages in Columbia’s Central Business District remained stable at mid-year 2011 with a median rate of $85 per month for reserved spaces and $65 per month for non-reserved spaces, according to the most recent survey by Colliers International.
Foreclosure sales in S.C. down 17% from 2010
The Charleston-North Charleston metro area had the most homes sold under foreclosure for the second quarter with 674, followed by Greenville at 416 and Columbia at 305.
Richardson named president-elect of trial lawyers
Columbia attorney Matthew T. Richardson was recently chosen to be president-elect of the South Carolina Association for Justice, formerly known as the South Carolina Trial Lawyers Association.
SBA disaster loans available in South Carolina
Federal economic injury disaster loans are available to small businesses, small agricultural cooperatives, small businesses engaged in aquaculture and most private non-profit organizations of all sizes located in South Carolina as a result of the drought and excessive heat that began on April 1, 2011.
