Health and Human Services will ask to run deficit

As the state agency struggles with Medicaid costs, the Department of Health and Human Services will ask to be allowed to run a deficit budget at next week’s Budget and Control Board meeting.

ZF Group recruiting suppliers to S.C.

Ludger Reckmann, CEO of the transmissions plant that ZF Group broke ground on in Laurens County this morning, said the company would like its suppliers to locate in the area too. The $350 million plant represents the German auto supplier’s largest investment outside its home country.
