Palmetto Health gets grant from Duke Endowment

The hospital received $3 million to develop a new model of care for patients with complex illnesses. It will be used to expand an outpatient case management program, develop a new patient care center and secure accreditation as a patient-centered medical home.

Fehrer Automotive to expand in Spartanburg County

The company, an international developer and series supplier for the automobile industry, plans to invest more than $14 million and expects to create 130 new jobs over the next five years. The new facility in Duncan will have 100,000 square feet of space, compared with the company’s current 80,000-square-foot facility in Fountain Inn.

Law professors object to 'interference' in NLRB-Boeing

More than 30 law professors signed a letter asking the House Oversight Committee to allow the National Labor Relations Board case against the Boeing Co. to continue through the administrative hearings "without undue interference."
