Tool company to expand in Sumter County
Apex Tool Group LLC expects to invest nearly $1.4 million and generate 33 new jobs as part of the expansion. Apex produces hand tools under the Crescent, Wiss, HK Porter and Xcelite brands.
Auctioneer to sell Columbia commercial properties
National Commercial Auctioneers will auction commercial properties in Northeast Richland County and the Harbison area on May 3. Property inspections are scheduled for later this month.
The Lexington Medical Center board of directors elected Dan Jones as its chairman, Al Harman III as vice chairman and Vince Rhodes as secretary. Also, Richard Westbrook becomes a new board member. Three people indicted on counterfeiting chargesDarren DeWayne Brown of Holly Hill, Shana Shade Parker of Adams Run and William Earl Turner Jr. of Charleston were charged in a one-count indictment with passing counterfeit currency. |
